Motorola has been continuing the series of the budget model, which is Motorola Moto G Power, for years, and it is no different this time. Somewhat quietly, but in accordance with earlier information and the annual calendar, Motorola presented a device from this series dedicated to 2022. There are a few novelties, but as it usually happens in this type of construction, it is primarily an evolution.
Currently, the Motorola Moto G Power (2022) has only been presented. It is likely to be available for sale in the US by the end of the year and in other regions at a later date. It should also reach Europe, although this has not been officially confirmed.
The heart of this budget smartphone is MediaTek Helio G37. It is supported by 4 GB of RAM. The files have 64 or 128 GB of disk space, with the possibility of extending it with an external memory card.
The screen issue looks good here. It has a diagonal of 6.5 inches and is made in IPS LCD technology. Unfortunately, it only supports HD + resolution. On the other hand, it has a refresh rate of 90 Hz, which is not so obvious in this class of devices.
There are many indications that the Motorola Moto G Power (2022) has a pretty good camera to offer. A triple main unit was used here, but in this case, only the main camera can be called a full-fledged camera. It has a 50 Mpix matrix. The other two “eyes” are the standard 2 Mpix dedicated to macro photos and measuring field depth. At the front, there is a selfie camera with an 8 Mpix matrix.
Motorola Moto G Power offers a 5000 mAh battery. With such parameters, it should actually do without connecting the charger for a long time. Unfortunately, if we do it, we will only charge it with a speed of 10 W.
Motorola Moto G Power, as already mentioned, is to be available in the US first. Depending on the variant, it will cost either $ 199 or $ 249. At this price, it can be quite an interesting device.
