What should a modern smartwatch have? This group of wearables can be divided into two groups: the first is inexpensive watches with basic functions. In fact, they are often fitness brands, but with the look of modern smartwatches. The second group consists of real smartwatches – they have more extensive functions (including the phone) and cost over 1000 or even 2000 PLN!

Huawei smartwatches have ceased to resemble fitness brands and have turned into full-fledged smartwatches.
The Huawei Watcha GT 2 Pro case is 46.7 by 46.7 mm and is 11.4 mm thick. The watch weighs 52 grams. The first thing that catches the eye is the very high quality of workmanship. The smartwatch is made of titanium and the case is covered with sapphire glass. You can control the device using the Huawei Zdrowie application. In addition, the phone allows you to control music, also through the Spotify application (which allows it to change songs also on other devices). The watch also allows you to preview notifications and has a flashlight, and barometer. You will also use it to take a photo because it can be used as a shutter button on your phone.
Samsung Galaxy Watch4
Samsung Galaxy Watch4 is a development of the well-known and very popular line of smartwatches. It is clear that Samsung is trying to compete with Apple‘s equipment without complexes. It is both an extension of our smartphone and an almost independent device that can cope with almost any situation.
Samsung Galaxy Watch4 is available in 40 mm (in the photo), 46 mm, and Classic (42 and 46 mm) versions. One of the biggest distinguishing features of this device from the competition is the operation with a movable ring (in Classic versions). It allows for very efficient and comfortable control. The device runs on the Wear OS operating system, which replaced the earlier Tizen. The heart of the watch is the Exynos W920 dual-core processor supported by 1.5 GB RAM. There is 16 GB of internal memory here. For comparison – the earlier generation had 1/8 GB of memory. Compared to the competition, it is distinguished primarily by highly developed communication options – here you can respond to notifications using ready-made answers, the keyboard, and even dictating the content of the device. Of course, there is a whole range of sports functions available. The battery of the device is 361 mAh.
Huawei Watch 3 Pro Elite
Waterproof (5 ATM) Huawei Watch 3 Pro Elite is the latest smartwatch from the Chinese manufacturer! It looks very elegant and has been well-equipped.
Huawei Watch 3 Pro Elite measures 49.6 by 48.0 mm. The thickness of the case is 14.0 mm. The watch weighs approximately 63 grams without the strap. Is that a lot? The Huawei Watch GT 2e we are reviewing weighs 43 mm. The device works on the HiSilicon Hi6262 processor, 2 GB RAM, and 16 GB internal memory. Of course, as is the case with Huawei smartwatches, this one also works together and is configured by the Health application. Watch 3 Pro Elite runs on HarmonyOS 2.0, has a phone function (eSIM LTE), has GPS / GLONASS / Galileo / Beidou / QZSS connectivity. Onboard there are all the sensors required from modern smartwatches, i.e. gyroscope, accelerometer, heart rate monitor, and many more. The Li-Po battery of the device has as much as 790 mAh. It allows you to work up to 5 days in smart mode or up to 21 days in ultra mode.

This is probably the most advanced (though not necessarily the best) smartwatch on the market. Apple has been refining its solutions for years and although it is difficult to talk about a revolution, the next generations are developing and refining new functions.
Apple Watch 6 is available in two versions – 40 mm (height: 40 mm, width: 34 mm, thickness: 10.4 mm, weight 33.5 g in the aluminum version and 39.7 g in the stainless steel version) and 44 mm (height: 44 mm, width: 38 mm, thickness: 10.4 mm, weight 36.5 g for the aluminum version and 47.1 g for the stainless steel model). Apple Watch 6, which is clear, offers a whole list of sports and health functions, but also copes well with notifications, you can also answer them by voice! Of course, there are a lot of information functions here, such as checking the weather and so on. Sleep analysis also works exceptionally well here.
Xiaomi Amazfit GTS
Xiaomi has long been associated mainly with inexpensive fitness brands. Initially, these only offered basic sensors, and all information had to be viewed using a smartphone. Later, small digital displays appeared until the Chinese company launched smartwatches.
Xiaomi Amazfit GTS is 44 mm high and 36 mm wide. The thickness of the case is 9.4 mm. The device weighs approximately 25 grams. The smart watch is made of aluminum. The smartwatch from Xiaomi offers mainly sports functions, such as running, swimming, and gym. The device also has a number of information functions – you can check the weather forecast, set a timer, stopwatch, alarm clock, and look at the calendar. There is of course also a GPS module, as well as the ability to control music. Xiaomi Amazfit GTS can be operated using the Amazfit application. The device’s battery has a capacity of 220 mAh.
